Roe Deer Yearling

EOS300D, Sigma 100-300 F4 + 1.4TC, ISO 400, f5.6, 1/640.

This is a closer shot of the beautiful Roe Deer yearling I posted a little while ago. She didn't seem nervous at all and stayed for a few moments to allow me to get some shots before she moved off deeper into the trees. These deer can be seen in various areas with patience and perseverance!!

You can see the remnants of her winter coat which she has mostly shed for the summer.

All comments and critiques always welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking.

Wonderful portrait Carol. Love the upclose detail, exposure and color balance. Beautiful!

PS The little blade of grass far right seems to really add to the picture for me..

Thanks Dennis. Funny you should say that about the grass - I thought about cloning it out, but liked it the way it was! :)
