One of my favorite walks is Big Creek Marsh in Long Point. In the early morning at this time of year can be found large numbers of Snapping Turtles digging in to lay their eggs.
On the same morning I saw both Mink and Ermine (Short-tailed Weasel), both of which will predate these eggs when they can. Harold Stiver
