Hello NatureScapers:

I am woefully behind on my images and because of it I havent been able to post any pictures in a few weeks. Sorry  This is a moose image made while in Alaska in February. After shooting eagles until late in the afternoon, we decided to take a chance and check the bog near the airport in Homer. The light was low but our subject was very cooperative.

Thanks for looking and for any comments or suggestions.

Great moose! (Moose are my favourite herbivores--I can't get enough of them...) This is as good a moose shot as any.

Dennis, this image sings. I like the habitat, the colors and the calm pose with the alert ears perked up. Beautiful.

Dennis, I lvoe the light coming down on it's face, and the surrounding snow frames it nicely.

Excellent capture Dennis. The lighting has allowed you to get so much detail. Congrats.

I like this a lot, Dennis. The moose looks very peaceful and relaxed. I like the comp with the background tree counterbalancing the subject.
