Sigma 50-500 (at or very near 500), Provia 100, pushed one stop. I know it's no technical wonder, but I think it tells a story...

Neat nature story and a lot of critters in that slide. Looks like that lens has a bit of a vignetting problem. The left and right sides appear darker than the center.

Yeah, I've known about the vignetting problem for almost as long as I've had a 50-500. And I actually corrected it somewhat in PhotoShop! To me it's the biggest flaw in an otherwise great lens. But I think this is the third image that I've taken that it's really noticeable in--so it's not a major problem to me. The previous ones had flat, light coloured backgrounds--I'm not sure why the vignetting is so obvious here.

The pano shot really shows the vastness of the landscape and there is a lot going on here Paul. How great to actually be able to see Wolves in the wild!! 8) :)
