A fawn in the rain

Taken a few weeks ago with a borrowed D70 and a friend's MF 600mm f/4.

Taken at Dewey Marsh in north central Wisconsin in the rain. We were shooing warblers and were just heading out and found it munching...

ISO 400 I think and less than a 1/100th of a second at f/4

Nice focus even with the grass in front. I think you are correct to leave it in, a more natural look.

Thanks. Yes, it would have been nice w/o the grass but oh well. I like it this way too.
