As Len Backus was doing his series on the cheetahs I was looking back at my photos of our trip, enjoying the memories and realizing how lucky we were.
I left this photo full frame because the background was important to the story of the cheetahs we saw, the huge herds of wildebeests on the African savannah, sometimes watching, but mostly ignoring the cheetah at work.

Wonderful light and subject. Background does add to the story. If you did want to crop it, I might try to move the subject a little out of the center and throw in a few degrees of CCW rotation.. You guys sure had a great trip.

Gorgeous light. I agree with Dennis on both suggestions, otherwise a very nice shot.

Beautiful cat in sweet light Jack. I agree the BG is an integral part of the image and I agree with Dennis on both counts of his critique. 8) :)

Jack, that's way too much! Now I think it needs 0.0000000000000005 degrees of clockwise rotation.

Now that's MUCH better Jack, it rocks now :)

You might want to put "with repost" in the title. I'd hate those that have already seen it to miss the second one
