A detail of one of the many small streams that currently meander through Tuolumne Meadows. The bright green lichens attracted me to this spot, and as I came closer I discovered the icicles on the twigs near the water.
I used a 3-stop ND, but the water didn't get quite as blurry as I'd hoped it would. It's ok here, but for future shots like this I ordered a 6-stop ND. EOS 3, Canon 24-70/2.8 L @ 40mm, f/16, WarmPol, 3-stop ND, Astia 100F, Tripod. 5/15/04 A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
