Just back from a week away and feeling somewhat refreshed! This is a contribution to the Motif for this week, and I will get round to looking at and commenting on the great shots you have all been posting while I was away. 8)

You will know by now that Wolves figure highly among my favourite animals to observe and photograph and this one was just finishing his breakfast by crunching the last morsel.

All comments and critiques always welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking.

Great expression, Carol!! What is it eating?

I might be tempted to take a bit off of the top, particularily because it is mostly devoid of grass.

Thanks Harold, they were eating some beef and ribs. This bit had been pulled off and dropped in the earth a few times by the time he got round to finishing it off - they seem to prefer it that way!! :? The earth in the BG is where they have excavated soil from one of their dens and I agree it might look better cropped off. :)
