Just put up some pics of the Wimberley head II vs. the RRS monopod head on another forum...thought I'd share here as well. The Wimberley is 2.5 lbs heavier. Viewfinder is 1/4" taller when the Wimberley is mounted vs. the RRS. Lens is a Canon 500 f/4 IS, monopod is a GM2541.

Nice pic, thanks Tim!

I've found the MH-01 makes the "ground pod" much more usable as well. The 2.5lbs makes a difference when you're down on the ground.
