Captive
EOS300D, Sigma 100-300 F4 + 1.4TC, ISO 400, 1/640 @ F8 -1. 550EX + BB -1.


This is Jamie again, pausing in the middle of his flying demonstration at The Hawk Conservancy Trust. We were amused that wild Red Kites and Buzzards came to wheel overhead while the demonstrations were going on, and of course Jamie spotted them too!!

All comments and critiques always welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking.

Oh. My. I am so entranced by the feather detail, I could look at this for a long time. There's a bit of noise in the BG but I don't think it diminishes the overall pleasing effect. 8)

Carol, wonderful bird, love the attentive look while other Raptors are in the neighborhood, Even Peregrine Hawks get killed by larger Hawks, specially if they are caught feeding, They must always be on the lookout!!
