Seen a few summers ago at 13K feet in the tundra in Rocky Mountain National Park. The Pikas, related to rabbits, madly gather greens while things are green. I believe they were lining their burrows.

Cute  . I'd only wish for a lower angle.

Really cute, especially with the big load. A lower angle would have helped, but you probably didn't have much time to get in position.

Yep, you get major cuteness points for this one. The greens are a great touch. thanks for sharing both your images and your comments in the Wildlife forum.

Tack sharp and interesting contrast between Pika colors and granite. Catch light and a mouthful of salad make a nice healthy image...

Great shot with the plant in his mouth Noel! People have commented on the lower angle but I'll bet there was no time to get in position. The shot really shows his personality.

This can't beat the BE Fox cub for cuteness (IMHO) but it is certainly worthy of a high score! They work like mad storing up food while the weather is good, so they have stores for when the snow comes.

Excellent, quality shot Noel and it reminds me of the view a predator would have as it swoops down to pluck this poor little morsel off the rock and carry it off! 8)

Sweet shot! Almost looks like this guy is trying to make his own wreath for his head. The angle works for me.

I really enjoy your pictures. You seem to have a sense of humor built into your images from the squirrel looking out over the field to this little guy hauling off with a pantry load. Thanks for contributing to the Wildlife Forum. This is just great!

I like the angle here - the angle of the head and the load of forage in its mouth add to a sense of activity, more about the "realness" of the animal and less about a formal portrait.

Great shot Noel. The subject couldn't be cuter and catching him with his mouth full is a bonus. The rock is really nice also.
