Very nice sunset/sunrise shot. A second later would have made it even better as the bird would have been fully in the sun disk.

Excellent shot, Harvey...the dark tones really works to the image's advantage. Well done!
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

Harvey, I agree that this looks almost otherworldly, in a good way. I'm somewhat confused by the lighter right side than left, as others have said. That can probably be adjusted (by someone with better computer skills than I).

The lighter side is where the sun was descending from. At the time the photo was taken it was fairly dark on the left side. About five minutes later the sun was just about completely gone and the only small bit of light was frame right. Also if you notice there is no cloud cover frame left for illumination.
