Bengal Tiger - (c) Miami, Florida, USA
EOS 10D, 100-400 @ 400mm, 1/250, f/8, ISO 400

Cohabitating with the White Bengal I have posted a couple of times is this more traditionally colored Tiger at the Miami Metrozoo. The Tigers there have a huge area to roam - if you have to be captive and on display at a zoo, this is one of the better habitats that I have seen.

Excellent shot. I really like the low perspective, catchlights and outstanding background... Way to go EJ..

Palms make a great background for almost any photo, and they go especially well with tigers! Outstanding image!

I haven't been to Metrozoo for 15 years. Thanks for reminding me I need to get back down there!

The BG colors are really pretty and the detail in the face is very nice.
