Taken back in January at the highly productive STL shoot at the Triple D. This is one of my favourite images of this magnificent cat and despite the close proximity of the trainers, eye contact like this definately makes you re-assess your position on the food chain :!:

My apologies to those who have seen this before.

This is outstanding! I love the intense look and how the monotone surroundings makes his color stand out.

A terrifying stare to be sure! Very well executed shot, I think the habitat included here is important to the shot. I'm amazed at the deepness of the orange, I haven't seen it that dark before.

Very nice shot John. That stare is 'killer'. It looks like he really had your number. I would consider cropping some of the OOF foreground from the bottom and left as the OOF snow in the LLC is very large and somewhat distracting.

Lovely snow image and I really like the stare around the snowy branches. Intense look. For my tastes, a little less saturation maybe..but thats just personal tastes.. Terrific work and thanks for posting.

Beautiful image. Maybe just a little less saturation. The snow is lovely and the intense look is great.

That is one very, very awesome face. A great motif that shows how placement in the image and clarity of feature can create a compelling effect.
