Amur Tiger
Captive
EOS300D, Sigma 100-300 F4 + 1.4TC, ISO 400, 1/2000 @ F8 -1. Natural Light.

The last two weekends we had been over to the West side of UK to photograph waterbirds, so this weekend we had to go back to our favourite Wildlife Park to see how our 'friends' were getting on. The beautiful Tigers came up for a look at us too!

All comments and critiques always welcome and appreciated, and thanks for looking.

I can imagine they would come to look at you. You two must be their most devoted fans! A nice tight and powerful portrait.

Excellent image, and all the better in square format. I'm happy when I can get one of our pet cats in as good a pose, but this... Wow.

I love a tight, detailed, portrait like this. Excellent eyes too. Maybe on the verge of oversharp. Super shot Carol.

Absolutely beautiful Carol. I really like the composition. Amazing the shots you get with that 100-300 lens. I'm darn near buying it now because of you!

You could do a lot worse Chris! I would be lost without mine.

Well done Carol. You can't go wrong with a tiger close up. Thanks for posting to the motif.
