Slow page loads

I am seeing slow page loads on the index pages. The listings will load and then it seems like the page is reloaded. Most noticeable is the new post icon loads then blanks put and re-loads.

Is there a way for a user to increase the default font size in their settings. The smaller font size makes the forums a little harder to read.

Any page I have used the back button on I get an “expired page” screen. I’m using IE as a browser.

Other than that I like the new look.

Bill,

Not sure about the speed thing as it seems fine here even on my slow sat connection - in fact faster than ever.

As for the text see the size controls on the right hand side of the navigation bar. Clicking the center "A" will go to the default size.

P.S. the back button annoyance is an ie weirdety and is true for any forum when using the back button - IE requires a reload. Nothing to do with NSN and has been that way with the old forums etc.

If you want faster page loading I suggest downloading and trying out the latest firefox 3 beta 5 which will improve things dramatically.
It is stable fast and I have yet to find any bugs after 5 weeks of using it daily.
