Strolling Lionesses

Shot the same day as most of my previous lioness images. Here the vehicle was positioned to capture them as they walked up toward the vehicle and passed to the left of it. Shot out the window to be as low as possible.

!D, 100-400IS, ISO 200, EV -2/3, no flash, no crop.

very powerful image Jim. the low angle, expressions on their faces and implied motion with the paw up make this a stand out. well done.

I agree with Dave, this is an excellent photograph of the pair..Do you remember the f stop? Both are very sharp..

Fantastic Jim. Well composed and I really like the intense look in their eyes. The ears back and mouths open add a bit of interest as well.

This was shot at f 9.0. I dialed in more than I usually shoot to get both in focus.

Judging from the look on the lioness on the right, I'm sure she wouldn't have minded if you'd gotten out and lay down on the ground to get a nice, low shot! ;)
