Sunrise?

You guys keep talking about this "sunrise," well I finally realized that there was more than on 5:30 on my clock and figured I'd go check one of those out.

I cropped part of the lower section because it was black space. Also just a little of the right because the plant life was distracting. I adjusted the contrast a bit for a little definition on the rocks.

Comment and suggestions are welcome...

Love the color and the range, the way if fans out and contrasts so sharply with the light blue sky. I'm ambivalent about the boat. Without the foreground, it would work for me. With, I'm not sure. (Some point either way.)

The early photographer catches the light. Now that you're shooting sunrises, you're going to have to get a split ND grad so you can keep the sky dark and still see the foreground.

Lovely! I totally second Dan's suggestion about a split nd grad.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.
