Help - Canon 100-400 is locked up.

The lens still will autofocus but will not manual focus. The barrel is locked and will not turn. Anyone have a similar problem or a suggestion?

Ed:

Mine is in the same state as yours. The cause is most likely dust. A push-pull zoom has a tendency to suck in a lot of dust. Mine is off to the camera hospital Monday morning.

The inner barrel needs to be replaced - it costs about $200. Ity got out of round somehow.

That happened to mine several months ago, the MF ring didn't want to turn. I worked a bit and finally it broke loose. Been fine since.
