Motif: Zebra Kiss

One of the difficulties with shooting on Safari is that the action is occurring in almost any direction, but can you be observant enough to not only spot it but capture the image.You also need to be shooting with the correct light angle. I noted these two young zebras and was lined up for an image but got lucky when this interaction occured. Naturally I'd like to have captured the entire zebra on the right

10D, 600IS, 1.4x, ISO 200, no crop. shadow from a nearby adult

It looks darn good to me! I like how they're both looking at you. A smidge more room on the bottom for the hoof would be nice.

Wow, this is wonderful! I love the interaction. Wouldn't have noticed the shadow had you not pointed it out. My first thought was that I would like to see the rest of the right zebra but knowing the mother was there it probably wouldn't have been possible. On the other had this is nice an intimate!

This is great - I love the interaction. I only wish you had framed it slightly lower as to not cut off the hoof.
