Attached is a photograph of a denizen of the wild - a raccoon. I observed the animal for several minutes as it was comming towards me. It went under a brush pile and had just come out from under the log in the background and was climbing over a smaller pile of brush when I captured this photograph. I think he either saw me or knew I was there - he was paused and looking right at me when I got this picture. He took several more steps toward me and then fled. I was not able to get a picture of him sideways to show his beautiful tail. I like this photograph because it shows him in his natural habitat with a glimpse of the sun reflected in his eyes.
