This is the first of many cat images taken in Tanzania the past 16 days on a safari with Art Morris and Todd Gustafson. Early morning light. Serengeti near Ndutu Lodge. I will be posting in the avian forum as well.

10D, 600IS, full frame, ISO 200, EV -1/3, Todd-pod.

This is really nice, Jim -- the pose and tail position combine to make and excellent shot.

Cheetahs are my favorite cat and this is a wonderful capture; it's the "tail forward" and the ears back that make the shot for me. I look forward to seeing more from your trip.
