This ground squirrel was eating his food in Glacier Nat Park. It was jungle like and, before anyone reminds me that I could have moved to remove the OOF blade of grass, I want to say, I could not have done so. The moment was fleeting and I was behind the car. Any movement would have lost the moment. Sometimes circumstances conspire to prevent the opimum image, but we can enjoy it anyway. This is cute, not an award winner, but I just wanted to share it. It was a moment to sit and smell the roses, or other flowers.

Very nice Steve, looks like you shot this in some harsh light but handled it very well. Yes it is pretty darn cute :D

Capturing the moment is more important than a "perfect" image.

This is a wonderful moment caught extremely well. Congrats

Hey Steve, this is a sweet and timely capture, but as you mention the OOF blade of grass in the facial area is a bit of a distraction. However, I agree with DC- get the action when you can, the rest is complimentary.

Best,

Chas
