Yellowstone series- Elk in Madison River

Actually a crop of an elk eating in the river. The elk would kick the snow away and then graze on the grasses below. I did not like the whole shot, but thought this crop was interesting with the snow, drips, etc. Hope you like it. This trip was amazing.
IT seems as if the shoulder fur is over sharpened, but the face and eye are fine on my screen so I kept this level of sharpening. Comments appreciated. This is the most extreme I have cropped and posted, about 25% of the frame.

I like the image. Can't say one way or another about the sharpening as my monitor at work isn't always the most reliable.

Looks fine on my monitor also. Like the contrast between the fur on the chest and the flank. Looks like an elk with an attitude!
