These are for industrial applications but.... 31 megapixel APS-C with global shutter is pretty darn formidable. These are only 8bit per color channel, at least at the advertised frame rate of 31FPS which makes them not really for photography or high production quality video but it is certainly a start and ultimately this will expand to 14bit color at 30FPS - maybe this is the preview to a future APS-C camera in the a6xxx lineage... This makes me hopeful fro global shutter high FPS cameras in the 2020 timeframe...
