Does anybody knows part # for Nikon 300mm f/2.8 VR II slip-in filter holder and where it can be purchased ?
I don't see it in B&H.

Here's one (39mm) on eBay, but it is in Australia. 39mm is probably what you need.

Those are for old lenses. Apparently it's close to impossible to find replacement for new lenses.

I have this lens and just looked at the rear filter holder. It accepts 52 mm filters and not 39 mm filters. There is no part number on the filter holder, just Nikon.

The NikonUSA site shows this at: https://www.nikonusa.com/en/nikon-produ ... older.html. Call B&H and I would think that they could special order it for you. I got there from the accessories link for your lens.

Discontinued at B&H and still waiting for reply from Nikon.
On many sites people say this is impossible item to get.
