I sold my ten year old Gitzo and almost ten year old Wimberley Head version II and had the side mount Wimberley bracket as well that I rarely used.
I use Induro with two top plates.
One has the Mongoose 3.6 with the lower arm and the other has the Jobu Black Widow mounted on.
I can switch them in ten seconds.
Both are light and the Jobu actually is quite sturdy and takes the Wimberley flash arms very well, if I need to use flash.
I have the integrated arm for the Mongoose but the flash upsets the balance so I never use it.
I traded rock solid sturdiness for lighter weight and I don't regret it.

having used both, get the 4th generation with the swing arm.  I find the gitzo 3543xls sufficent.  I've used it with everything up to a 800 f5.6  Having lived through the days and still owning gitzo 500 series carbon fiber and the aluminum 410R, I don't feel it is necessary or has the flexibility of the 3543XLS.

Curious if anyone has had experience with the ProMediaGear Katana JR gimbal.
