I like this quite a bit. To me it reminds me of the death of plants and the cold approaching winter. The black frostbitten area looks like it was dipped in tar. How can something so pretty look so old now?

Interesting shot. I like the sharp pattern of the sunflower against the blurred rays in the background. The top rays look like they're coming from the sunflower itself.

Very striking, wonderful detail, and I like this one much better than the other one with the dark background.

I have to admit the sunflower itself doesn't draw me in, but those radiating plants in the BG do. I guess I prefer the scanned one more, but still - fun.
