Motif: Melted Candy

Same subject as the previous 'motif' shot (i.e. a leaf of a dwarf cultivar of NZ flax, I think), but this time a green leaf, afflicted by the ruffles.

This is natural backlighting in the late afternoon sun. The dark background is the out of focus bush below my deck (totally in the shade). No digital enhancement other than minimal USM.
