Golden Lion Tamarin
Captive
EOS30, Sigma 100-300 F4, Velvia 100F, Handheld, crop

This group of Tamarins were like lightning - they were never still for more than a few seconds and several shots were a blur as a result! This little one was having his tail pulled by one of the others - hence the expression and shriek of disapproval!! - it was all in good fun though as they played around.

All comments and critiques always welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking.

These are very interesting subjects. One of our zoos has the moustached variety. The tail pull completely explains the look on your subject's face.. I like the animation in the hands.. Another very nice shot, Carol, well done and thanks for your contribution here..

Excellent timing to catch that expression! As in humans, it begs the question: What are friends for? :D

I wish the rest of the left front foot was in the image.

Oh what a look on that face! The expression is just great here! I'd also like the rest of the foot in the frame but not so much that I don't still love this shot.

I'm not bothered by the small piece of missing foot. Exposure is handled pretty well except for a tiny spot that can be burned. I think this would work nicely as a horizontal too but this is very good work carol.

I like the composition on this one. The expression is caught just right and the exposure is good bar the tiny hot area. It would be nice to
have all of the foot but does not detract from the image.

Super cute! I only wish the fingers weren't cut-off.

Very nice shot, Carol. You captured a great expression with a nice composition, exposure, and background. I wouldn't mind seeing a little more depth of field to get both front paws in focus.

Very nice Carol, great color and exposure. Just wish for a little more space on the bottom.
