Hi Frank, is this in the wild? If so it is too close for my comfort! I nearly stepped on one of these barefoot in Kentucky a number of years ago. On to the image. I lvoe the color, comp and eye contact.

very fine shot! great expression in the snakes eyes; i'm not sure about the oof fg , but probably you had no other choice;

Impactful photo. I've tried quite a bit of shooting in a similar environment lately, and it is tough to get good shots. The eyes on this guy look human!!!!
