Turkey tail closeup

Nikon D2X, 105 f2.8, ISO100, NC4.2 RAW conversion, tripod

Go figure, set out today to photograph owls, and all I end up photographing is leaves and fungus! Had to squeeze this one down a bit because of the detail involved. The 550 px JPEG doesn't do it justice.

Comments welcome and appreciated.

Lovely tones and patterns - sounds like my luck with birds!

Well you certainly came away with a terrific image dispite the poor luck with the birds.
