Evergreen Lake @ Oak Openings, Ohio

Sony DSC-S75, 1/500, f/4.5, ISO 100

Really nothing too special. I just wanted to post something for this weeks Motif. :) This lake is always completely covered in duckweed hence the name Evergreen Lake! As I walked around on this day, leaves and acorns would drop from the surrounding trees and slowly sink through the muck.

Outstanding! Simple and uncluttered with complementary drop shadows.

Excellent Laura!
I like the isolation of the leaves in this sea of green, and well seen I might add! 8)
I have shots of subjects floating in and around some duckweed, and can never seem to find some that is as smooth and clean as this one of yours.
Very nice!!! :)

Very nice! Lovely composition although the light is a little harsh.

Laura -- I think this is a great shot. The colors work great together, the leaves fit perfectly in the composition, and that perfect duckweed background is fantastic.

Laura, excellent image. The uniformity of the duckweed creates a nice texture for the leaves to sit on. Well done.

Good eye! The uniform color and texture of the duckweed really makes the shot.
