I believe this is one of the many species of jumping spiders.  Photographed in our Corning NY backyard early this month with R5 and 100m F 2.8 Macro.  Any additional ID info would be appreciated. Please click on image to see details.

I can't help with ID, but the markings and camouflage are striking, lovely details in the uncompressed image.

Very interesting-looking spider, Ed. I can't help with the ID, either.
