Not an uncommon orchid  - but - this example is the only one found in our canton - and so come late spring we perform our annual pilgrimage to check up its wellbeing ..... as can be seen by the presence of a pollinating fly -  we were not the only ones ;)

Many thanks to my spouse for setting up the camera while I tended to our young red setter lass.

A beauty Sinuhe. Sounds like your young lass, was being a handful. Great teamwork.

Great orchid to have around, I like the composition and use of light, Sinuhe. That little fly adds to it.

Nice work, shows off the orchid really well and a bonus to get the pollinator.

Love the mood here- the fly really adds a lot. Wonderful glow in the background for contrast. Congratulations on your EP!
