I didn't expect much from this aquarium shot. I expected so little that I didn't take any pains to get the exact ID of the fish involved. But on looking at it and playing with it a bit, I REALLY like this image.
I believe the fish involved is a gar, or possibly a pike. I would've gone back to the aquarium anyway, now I'll definitely have to go back and see! This is a single image cropped into a pano. I brightened the shot up quite a bit compared with the original, adding about 1/2 level of exposure in RAW conversion, and adjusting a little more in levels to make things brighter. I'm interested if people think this would look better darker. The teeth are awfully bright now, but I think that makes them look better! controlled situation 50mm macro lens f/18 @ 1/250th second ISO 200 hand held with macro flash Mike B. in OKlahoma
