Shy little guy. Only thing I could never understand is how, with a brain much bigger than ours, they think they can hide behind a tree trunk or a little bush! :?

Very sweet pose; like the light. I'm conflicted a bit on the bottom. Would like more room to catch the entire leg, but also would like the branches not to be there (or to be less bright).

Cute peek-a-boo shot. I too would like to see the whole leg or have it cropped closer by the head. I love that eye.

Dave -- Until I saw this shot, I didn't think you could hide an elephant. Very nice job on the exposure in the dappled lighting, and nice job catching the ear flapping up. I think I agree with those that said they'd like to see it aimed a little lower to avoid cutting off the foot, even it wouldn't be visible.
