Nikon D810, Nikon 200mm F 4.0 macro
ISO 400, 1/10s, F 22, Tripod The son of a long time friend is a hunter. A couple of years ago, knowing that I enjoy macro photography, he called me to say he had just brought home a really good looking turkey asking if I was interested in photographing the feathers. It was difficult to get the light and angle correct to do justice to the color and sheen but this is one of the images that came close. Please click image for higher resolution. Editor(s): I placed this in the macro gallery but not sure if it belongs in the bird gallery. |
