Don't tell those macroholics I put this here or I'll be laughed right out of this forum :roll: Its a close-up though, so I thought it went best here. Comments and critiques welcome, as always!

This is a fabulous looking abstract type shot, excellent details and love the comp. No nits from me at all! :)

Is that little muscles or clams mixed in with the smaller rocks in and around the bottom of the image?
Really like this shot!

I like this. It is a little hard to get a sense of scale without some familiar object in the composition. Well done texture study.

I never saw any live bivalves, only the shells here which averaged about 1 cm in size as I remember. The width of the entire shot I estimate to be about a foot to a foot and a half.
I'm sorry I didn't do a real macro of some of these shells, too.
