I took this shot a few years ago from the marsh boardwalk Pt Pele natl Park in Canada. It is special to me because it is the only shot I have had published in a Sierra Club calendar. It is also hanging on the wall in the 'flower room' at work.

Cheryl, I think this is excellent in its simplicity and composition. The texture of the dark background really intrigues me. I like this one alot!

Beautifully done. Softer light might have helped (eliminate the reflections on the leaf and the shadows on the flower petals).

Superb eye for composition Cheryl, and a lovely image with dramatic colours.

Nice one!

Intruiging is a good choice of words for this one. I'm so used to seeing shots from eye level rather than from above. (Tough to get appreciably above in most circumstances.) Composition is very simple but there's enough detail in the water and the leaf to make it really intruiging. Cool shot.

Now this is a bold and beautiful shot, and one not easy to capture.
I like how it stands out nicely from the background, and the whites in the flower don't seem to washed neither! 8)

Very graphic with simplified lines and strong contrast. It certainly works for me.
