Native Stingless Bee Austroplebeia sp.
Native stingless bee in my backyard, nectaring at Micromyrtus ciliata. These bees are about 3mm long and difficult subjects as they fly off readily and often have head buried deep in the flower. One of several species I see at flowering plants. Larger Image: Native Bee Olympus OM-D EM-1 MkII + Canon FD 200mm f4 macro lens + Metabones FD- OM-D adapter + Olympus 1.4x , Olympus FL-900R. The olympus works quite well with MF lenses and even stabilizes the image using the on sensor stabilizer, the EVF image is clear and focus peaking works. 1/250 @ f11 ISO200 Chris Ross
