Nice! You pretty much need the perfect angle to get these sharp from tip to tip - not much DOF at all when you’re this close! Nice comp, light, and bg, but of course the water droplets are the icing here! I’m just starting to get “serious” about Odes, and damselflies are tough - to differentiate some species, you need a specimen in hand and a magnifying lens or a *perfect* shot with high magnification. I can’t begin to guess at the ID, but females (like this one) are often brown/tan when males of the same species are blue, green, etc.
Good light,

Lovely image, fine parallel position, and excellent detail. Looks like a female Enallagma (bluet) species, maybe Tule bluet or Familiar bluet. Hard to ID, as Craig writes. The females are often brown in this genus.

Whatever to genus, the photo is ingenious! Excellent detail and composition. Love the droplets.
