Fine natural history image - but isn't it a dragonfly? The face/eyes look a lot like one.

It is a dragon fly. I was looking at Cicada images at the time as well. Oops.

Hi

A fine shot showing this remarkable change - I like it

I have never seem a dragonfly emerge in real life, I thought they were normally stuck to foliage for this change; perhaps I have been looking in the wrong places lol

All the best
Matthew
