Large-flowered Trillium

With the overcast sky's it was a good time to hit the Big Woods and look for some botanical subjects. I found this cluster of Large-flowered Trillium amongst mature Maples. So I used one of my wide angle lens to show the trilliums in a environmental image.
Nikon D800
Tamron 24mm-70mm OC lens @ 26mm
Gitzo Tripod
RRS BH-55 Ball Head
ISO 800 (necessary a higher ISO because of a steady breeze)
F-22 @ .3 sec

Very nice image - and a great job of eliminating any bright gaps in the background foliage; hopefully that makes sense
