Striped Catfish Plotosus lineatus
Another image from my dive at Bare Island last week. The striped catfish is found in large dense schools and this is just a small portion of the school, which was about 1m x 2m in size. This catfish has venomous spines on the dorsal and pectoral fins which can cause a painful injury.
