Common Grass Blue Zizina labradus
From my backyard, these small blues are common in what passes for my lawn. Just got the MT-24EX twin lite and trying it out on the butterflies, success rate seems better in the late afternoon as the subject is only 60mm or so from the lens at 2x. Composite of 2 frames handheld for more DOF. Larger Image:GrassBlue 1/160 @ f11 ISO400 Canon 1D MkIV + MP-E 65mm f2.8 + MT-24EX. Chris Ross
