Butterflies are not my favorite subject, but with macro photography they are photogenic!

Good composition I would probably crop a littler tighter.

With the butterflies if you can get them parallel to the plane it is much easier to have them in total focus.

There it is! Lovely colors in this and a nice exposure. I like the angle as well.

In my opinion, you don't always have to parallel to the plane of the wings, but it makes it more difficult if you aren't. If you want sharpness across the full butterfly at an angle like this, you need to stop down. The alternative is to use selective focus on the eyes or another area of high interest using a wider aperture.

Very nice subject and contrasting colors.

If you put a return in front of the image tags, it will show up left justified rather than running off the right side of the page - I fixed it for you here.
