EOS 10D, 100 macro lens @f8, 1/80sec. ISO 400

Not many blooms this year in my garden, other years I have had too many and needed to thin them out!

I am not sure if this it is my monitor, but the colors seem a bit too intense/saturated and there is a halo around the flowers. I think it could also use a bit USM. I like the composition.

I'm afraid I'm seeing the halo and saturation as well. The blooms look very nice and I can see lots of opportunities there for some fun photography. For this shot, I think I would have tried to pull the second stem on the right back and concentrate on the main stem and three blooms, but that may not have been possible.

I agree about the halo, and maybe a touch of desaturation would help also on this one.
It does seem to be a little stark with its color.
Comp looks fine to me, and wonder if a more square crop would give this a somewhat different look?
Still, ............... I like it!! :)

Keep on cranking these beauties out Katy,
Mike
