Spring can't get here soon enough. Had to make a trip to a Butterfly House. Thought the side lightin gave it a nice look.

Gorgeous. I love the colors against the dark background. I would be tempted to crop some of the bottom off.

Those translucent wings are really neat and bend the light quite nicely.

Now this is one "sweet" shot Tim with great comp, color, and detail. Love those wings on this beauty!!

Is this full frame Tim? The reason I am asking is that the background looks a little "splotchy" looking in the darker areas. Just wondering what was causing that, but it does not take away from a very cool shot you have given us!!! 8)

Beautiful butterfly...well exposed and colors are great. Our butterfly exhibit opens next month....can't wait!

Thanks all for looking and commenting.
Michael, it is slightly cropped top and left. The "blotchy," I believe comes from light and dark green leave mixtures.
