This is not my typical "water shot" but I have been significantly impressed by the raw power of MacDonald Creek. I love the textures and patterns in this shot.

Canon EOS 10D
Tokina 28-80 f/2.8 ATX Pro
7/10 sec f/22 ISO 100
Moose filter (on all water shots)

This does feel like a painting. Good capture of the feeling of rushing water. There's just enough texture to keep it interesting and the highlights/shadows are perfectly placed.
